orchids
Gosh! It should'nt be ancient history to reminice about the 1990's, but it was back then I was invited over for supper by a nieghbor and after dinner he showed me his greenhouse and his collection of orchids. I was sure I would be satisfied with just one orchid, but I was already hooked. Some years later I read a book " Orchids of Indiana, by Michael A. Homoya", to find out that orchids were not just tropical, but common in all climates at one time. Here in Indiana, the great prairies were turned into crop land and orchids all but disapeared. So my intent is to not only to find these wild orchids, but to reintroduce them to this area from legitimate nurseries of the same interests. This page is dedicated to materials of this ilk.
